Tigers Among US

Captive tigers in the United States and their impact on tigers in the wild
Did you know that there are more tigers in American backyards than there are in the wild around the world? The United States has one of the largest populations of captive tigers in the world − estimated at perhaps 5,000 tigers, compared to as few as 3,200 in the wild. Thanks to its high antioxidant content, chocolate has in recent years undergone a rehabilitation that has transformed it from sinful snack to super food. Protect Your Kidneys with This Pill

The reasons to get your daily dose of the sunshine vitamin just keep piling up. The newest? Kidney protection.
In a study, men who worked outdoors regularly -- and got the most sun -- were 24 to 38 percent less likely to develop renal cell cancer compared with men who got the least sunshine. Experts suspect the link is vitamin D, available in pill or solar-made form.
The Powers of D
Vitamin D is produced in your skin after just 10 to 20 minutes of sun exposure. And researchers suspect D discourages cancer in at least three ways. It inhibits the birth of new cancer cells, it encourages existing "rogue" cells to kill themselves off, and it slows the growth of blood vessels that feed growing tumors. And there's growing evidence that the vitamin protects against more than one type of cancer.

Another week gone and one week closer to Christmas.

It's time for a deep breath and to just relax.  Hey!  It's the weekend!  No matter what happened during the week, it's time to say, "OK, I've done the best I can do, and let's call it a day."  You may be looking back on the week as a huge success; or NOT.  If you are stressing over a disappointment, possibly an old adage from my brother's childhood Karate instructor may help.  He once said, "Even monkey sometime fall out of tree!"

Have a great weekend!
