Recipe for an Entrepreneurial Project
by Christopher K. Travis

Ingredients:

2 cups of Can Do
3 cups of good BS
3/4 cup of inflated ego
1/2 cup of relentlessness
2 rounded tablespoons of moxie
1/2 cup of unresolved needs for maternal approval
a pinch of creativity
1 teaspoon of opportunity
and 1 glass of Kool-Aid

Directions:
Combine the Can Do, good BS, creativity, and moxie in a large mixing bowl and stir continuously for several years using every implement imaginable.  Add relentlessness as needed until your dough runs out.  When the mixture congeals sufficiently to make a business plan, stand up, let it sit until the market provides opportunity.

Add all the dough you can scrape up.  Place it carefully on a well-connected board of directors and knead it to squeeze out pet ideas and control needs.  In desperate moments, add a tablespoon of unresolved needs for maternal approval to stay motivated.  Sell furiously until it turns into a reliable source of revenue or successful patent.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid until done.  If it fails to congeal, or cash runs out, start over and try again until the recipe goes public or you die.
